How do I create a new patient?

There are two ways to create a patient:

Option 1- On the dashboard you will see the "Create Rx" button. When the window opens to create a script, you will enter in patient information. Once you prescription is created, a record is automatically created in the "Patients" tab as will be seen in the photos for Option 2. 



You will notice in the next image that if you have an existing patient that matches when you've entered in either the first or last name field, it will provide you an 'autofill' option. Birthdays are also shown so you can make certain you don't choose a patient that may match someone else with the same name. Otherwise, you can continue filling out the information and proceed to creating the prescription. 


Option 2 - Click on the "Patients" tab in the menu bar. Here you will see all existing patients which can be edited and managed as need. You can then proceed to click "Add Patient" where you can manually add in as many patients as you'd like. This is great if you have many returning patients--once they come into your practice and you proceed to Create an Rx, you will get that cool Autofill option as shown in the previous image.
